Cookie Baking and Design (5 hour class) $160.00: Create the most beautiful and delicious cookies ever in this 5-hour workshop with Toba Garrett. Students will learn how to make a delicious butter cookie dough from scratch and how to roll, cut out and bake cookies. Students will also learn how to make a simple but delicious glacé icing and color and flavor the icing. The students will be shown how to outline each cookie and “flood” the cookies with various icing colors and create dazzling designs using a toothpick.Supplies: Masking tape, Off-set metal spatulas, variety of 2 to 3” cookie cutters, rubber spatula, rounded toothpicks, food colors (chefmaster, spectrum, Americolors, etc.), bench scrapers, pairing knives, box to take cookies home

One of the most beautiful and classic decorating techniques, made faster and easier, but still perfect for the most formal occasions. Also included are finishing techniques, and the method and recipe for making royal icing. Some materials and royal icing are provided.
Spring Gumpaste Flowers: Daffodil, Lily of the Valley and Pansy $85.00
Lovely for spring cakes, these gumpaste flowers can be created with or without cutters and veiners. Included are creation of the center and petals, assembly, coloring, and the characteristic daffodil stem. Also included in the class will be pansies and lily-of-the-valley. Paste and some materials provided.

Multiple Flowers with One Cutter $60.00: Not sure if you want to invest in making gumpaste flowers? Learn to use one cutter set to make 9 flowers from one cutter set. Flowers to be made: Calla lily, Trillium, Dogwood, Stephanotis, Pansy, Cherry Blossom, Rosebud, Buttercup, and Carnation. All flowers will be similar in size and can be put into an arrangement or used as fillers in larger arrangements.
